Engines and Escapades Indeed

To be completely honest, I have to admit a bias when it comes to this review: I was raised on Thomas the Tank Engine books and have always loved the stories of his adventures. So when The Parent Bloggers Network asked me to review the latest DVD offering in the that little engines series - I said yes of course.

Thomas has grown into quite the franchise since I was a kid. His personality has also changed a bit - he is no longer as cheeky and pompous as in years past, and has grown into a more friendly little chap - er - I mean, engine.

These days, Thomas shares the spotlight with his friends so the focus isn't always on my favorite blue engine but that's a good thing. Different personalities make for more interesting stories. Bumper doesn't mind - as long as there is a train involved, it holds her interest.

The stories on Engines and Escapades are a little bit over her head at age two and half, but she enjoys them nonetheless. I like that this series will grow with her because these kind of little life lessons will always be applicable. You can never learn enough about being a good and supportive friend.

This DVD includes six episodes: Duncan Does It All, Sir Handel in Charge, Cool Truckings, Ding-a-Ling, Skarley Storms Through and Wash Behind your Buffers and in my opinion, is well priced at 9.99 from Amazon. Each episode is short (a major bonus to me) and the running time of all episodes is just 50 minutes. The episodes are fun and varied so there is bound to be a favourite for every train-loving fan.

Bumper gives it a thumbs-up and so do I. If you want to read what other parents are saying, check out the links at the PBN launch post.

I've seen this site komatpillar.com There are lots of heavy construction equipment and machineries. Caterpillar, Volvo, bulldozer, mobile excavators, Liebherr, and more. Other heavy equipment companies worldwide advertise there.
